Students Stage Car Crash At High School For Senior Prank

A group of graduating seniors gave police quite the scare when they staged a car crash outside of Cumberland High School. Four students dragged half of a car and positioned next to the outside wall near the principal's office just after midnight on Sunday. They used a black tarp to make it look like the car crashed through the wall and positioned bricks around the car. They even used electrical tape to create skid marks for added realism

When police arrived they quickly realized the car crash was an elaborate ruse. Police Chief Rick Rieper was impressed saying "what they did was really creative.” He pointed out that no damage was done to the school.

The Cumberland Police Department shared photos of the fake crash on Facebook congratulating the "Class of 2018 on one of best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen."

Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 on your senior prank. Congratulation Class of 2018 on one of best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen. Congratulations to all the seniors who are graduating.

The school's principal, Ritchie Narges, said that the prank "was the talk of the town.” He said that people from all over the area were coming to the school to take photos next to the fake crash.
