'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Is Joining The Search For Man Who Threatened Trump

Dog the Bounty Hunter

The man who allegedly threated President Donald Trump and John M. Morganelli, who is the district attorney of Northampton County, Pennsylvania needs to watch his back because "Dog the Bounty Hunter" said that he is joining the hunt. Authorities have been searching for Shawn Richard Christy since he disappeared on June 19 after threatening to assassinate Trump in a since-deleted Facebook post.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter,” whose real name is Duane Chapman, told the Mansfield News Journal that friend of Christy's family hired him to track Christy down. Chapman told the paper that he has a lead and hopes to bring him in without violence.

"I have delivered messages to him," Chapman said. "My goal is not to shoot him but get him to surrender."

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Christy and authorities warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Chapman said that he does not think Christy is armed and believes that he crashed his car after falling asleep behind the wheel.

According to WLWT, officials believe that Christy recently stole a truck in Pennslyvania and fled to northern Ohio.
