Gene Simmons Hosting Bass Guitar Gallery Show In Las Vegas

KISS In Concert - Inglewood, CA

Gene Simmons wants us all to know that Geddy Lee isn't the only world famous rocker with an amazing collection of bass guitars.

Simmons will be hosting a gallery, featuring 20 of his most prized basses at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Nevada, while Kiss is on a break from tour in October.

Each bass in the collection is a one-of-a-kind build, commissioned by Simmons.

An adjective-heavy poster for the event teases it as "an exclusive collection of 20 personally-owned, iconic Gene Simmons, one-of-a-kind, hand painted and sculptural fine art bass guitar masterpieces."

The event, Saturday, Oct. 12, is one-night only from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. Pacific time, and there are only 55 spots available for the public.

Simmons will be there, and that means tickets are not cheap, ranging from $1,000 to $2,500.

Both reservation levels include signed photos and other assorted swag. You also get 10% off if you decide to buy one of the basses being shown. Simmons will provide a certificate of authenticity and sign it for you if you want.
